The Faculty of Engineering of the Slovak University of Applied Sciences in Nitra successfully represented the Labska stodola 2026 event

The Faculty of Technology of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (TF SPU) once again confirmed its position in the field of innovation and applied research at the Lábska stodola 2026 event, which took place on Saturday, August 22. The event attracted a record-breaking more than 2,500 visitors and TF SPU successfully represented the university there.

Faculty representatives sat on the expert jury of the “Best Tractor” competition, where they evaluated 67 exhibited machines in three categories: veteran, modern tractor and home-made tractor. There was also a competition for the prize of the chairman of the jury.

The faculty’s presentation stand aroused great interest, where visitors obtained information about study opportunities at TF SPU and the latest research results in the field of autonomous agricultural technology. The biggest attraction was the live demonstration of the Salamander autonomous vehicle, which attracted both professional and lay audiences.

TF SPU’s participation in Lábska stodola 2026 was extremely successful. The high attendance at the stand confirmed that the connection of science, modern technologies and practice has great benefits for the public.
