The Faculty of Engineering is expanding its education portfolio with new study programs

In line with the strategic objective of developing and improving the quality of education, the Faculty of Technology is introducing new study programs from the upcoming academic year. This initiative reflects the dynamic needs of the labor market and the growing demand for experts in the field of digitalization, automation and modern industry.
The new program offering is designed to provide students not only with technical knowledge, but also with the necessary flexibility in the work environment through continuous education from bachelor to engineer level.
Newly opened study programs at the 1st level (B.Sc.)
The faculty has received accreditation for the following study programs:
- Technical Operation Management (with a focus on agricultural technology)
A program focused on the management of modern technical means, precision agriculture and machine diagnostics.
Study options: in Slovak and English.
- Information and Control Systems in Production Technology
Focuses on the integration of IT into production processes, programming of control systems, sensors and robotics.
Study options: in Slovak and English.
- Process Technician for the Automotive Industry (Professional Bachelor)
A professionally oriented program with a high proportion of practical training directly in an industrial environment, focused on optimizing processes in the automotive sector.
Continuity of education
Another novelty is the expansion of the offer at the engineering level of study. The faculty has received accreditation for the following engineering study programs:
- Information and Control Systems in Production Technology
- Technical Operations Management
These programs allow bachelor's graduates to continue their specialization smoothly, while the Information and Control Systems study program can also be studied in English.
Internationalization and Strategic Development
The introduction of the option to study selected programs in English at both levels of study is part of the faculty's long-term strategy to strengthen international cooperation and mobility.
