The technical faculty became host to an unusually large number of girls and young women. As part of the CodingGirl project, she organized a hackathon with a focus on supporting girls in the IT sector. The CodingGirl project – Girls just want to have fun coding implements activities aimed at encouraging girls to program and study IT/STEAM.
Through hackathons and an educational platform, CodingGirl creates educational activities specifically developed for girls to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. In the coming months, we are looking forward to the creation of innovative living libraries that will map the inspiring stories of girls and women who have succeeded in the technology industry, which can help break stereotypes and encourage girls to study technology and computer science.
