International Student Scientific Conference at the Faculty of Engineering, SUA in Nitra

The Faculty of Technology of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra organized an International Student Scientific Conference on April 23, 2026, focused on current trends in agriculture, mechanical engineering and waste management.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ing. Roman Gálik, PhD., and provided a space for the presentation of scientific and professional activities of undergraduate and engineering students, as well as guests from domestic and foreign universities and professional institutions.

The main goal of the event was to support the development of students' scientific work and enable them to present the results of their research in a professional environment. The conference also created a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between young scientists and practitioners.

The conference contributed to the development of scientific and research activities of students and supported their professional growth. The event also strengthened cooperation between universities and created a space for establishing new professional contacts. The winners of the individual sections received the award of the Welding Society. Miroslava Fančovičová and Domonkos Király received the award of the chairman of the Association of Slovak Scientific and Technical Societies.
