High School Section at the International Student Scientific Conference
30.04.2026
As part of the International Student Scientific Conference at the Faculty of Technology of the Slovak University of Applied Sciences in Nitra, this year a separate section for high school students was traditionally created, which took place separately from the main conference program. This section was focused on supporting talented high school students and their first steps in scientific and professional activities.
By organizing a separate section for high school students, the Faculty of Technology of the Slovak University of Applied Sciences in Nitra has long supported cooperation with the high school environment. The event also represents an opportunity for students to learn more about the possibilities of studying at the faculty and motivates them to continue their technically oriented higher education.
The high school section confirmed that young people are interested in science, technology and innovation. Their active participation is a promise for the future and proof that supporting talent already at the high school level has significant justification.
"We are pleased with the interest of high school students in technology and research. It is precisely such events that allow them to develop their talent, present their own ideas, defend them in front of a professional committee and gain valuable experience. We believe that many of them will decide to continue their studies at our faculty in the future," concluded the Dean of the Faculty of Technology of the Slovak University of Applied Sciences in Nitra, Prof. Ing. Roman Gálik, PhD.
